Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player and Sony LIV were the Top 3 OTT Platforms in Week 8 of 2021 (Feb 21-27), per Chrome OTT’s popular list of Top 12 OTT platforms which shares valuable insights and guidance on content for OTT platform executives and media buying insights for custodians of numerous brands respectively. 

On the COTT Week 7, MX Player was the top platform with 22.52 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 3.93%. Disney plus Hotstar came on 2nd place with 3.78%, Voot came on 3rd place with 3.27% followed by Sony Liv with 2.61% and ZEE5 by 1.54%.

In the 6th week of COTT MX Player was the top platform with 27.43 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 4.78%. In the last week, the Mx player was in the 3rd position with only 2,35% and now it has jumped up to 1st place. The 2nd place is taken by Disney+ Hotstar with 3.49% whereas the 3rd place is taken by Voot with 3.31% followed by Sony Liv with 2.38% and Zee5 with 1.49%.

COTT shared its report on week 5 of 2021, where Disney+ Hotstar was the top platform with 21.30 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 3.71%. maintaining the position VOOT remained of 2nd place with 3.4% whereas third place was taken by MX Player with 2.35% followed by Sony Liv with 2.22% and Zee5 by 1.95%.

COTT shared its 4th-week report of 2021, where Disney+ Hotstar was the top platform with 20.10 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 3.51%, the 2nd place was taken by VOOT with 3.45%, MX player was in 3rd place with 2.79% followed by Sony Live with 2.46% and Zee5 by 1.96%

Religious genre is the top gainer for week 01, 2021 of Chrome Data Analytics and Media data. The genre clocked a marginal growth of 1.1 per cent. In this category, Sanskar has gained the highest OTS with 98.2 per cent. OTS is the actual census-based percentage connectivity of a channel spread across 81 million homes, as reported by Chrome DM, across analogue cable, and DTH.

COTT shared its report on week 2 of 2021, where Disney+ Hotstar was the top platform with 21.20 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 3.69%. The 2nd place was taken by VOOT with 3.44%, in the last report voot was back in 4th place but now it has come up to 2nd place. The 3rd place is taken by MX Player with 3.5% followed by Sony Liv with 2.98% and Zee5 with 2.79%

In the 52nd week of COTT Disney+ Hotstar was the top platform with 27.70 Million unique viewers translating to a reach of 4.83%. From the last three weeks MX player was on the top of the OTT platform but this week Disney+Hotstar has changed the scenario and have Topped with 27.70 million viewership. Mx player came down to the 2nd place with 4.17% of reach. The 3rd place was taken by ZEE5 with 3.9% followed by VOOT with 3.21% and Sony Liv with 2.35%.
